Pre-req: Intro to sewing or basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine.

What to bring: A garment or two that you want to add pockets to
Pocket fabric of choice (lining or cotton) ½ yard and matching thread
If owned, bring a sewing kit including scissors, pins, seam ripper, chalk
Sewing machine (or limited machines to reserve)

Pattern Manipulation

Learn to fit an existing pattern to your body. Make changes to bust or bicep, neckline or sleeves. Gain an overview of fitting techniques and pattern adjustments.
Geared for intermediate makers, you will work with sample patterns to make common changes. Learn how to translate garment issues to the flat pattern.
